Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

I’m currently staying at this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and the beach and the pool are great. The food is pretty good, although the breakfast could use a bit of more variety. Also, the kids club staff are the best. My daughter loves it there. In terms of improvement areas, the pool service is not great. We normally have to wait for a long time to be served and the waiters are not very friendly. Another area of improvement is the fact they don’t offer filtered tap water free of charge. We are on a half board plan, so we are spending quite a lot of money on water, which shouldn’t be the case in a 5stars hotel. Another point worth mentioning is that there are not enough umbrellas in the pool. Given the hotel is family oriented, that’s a big miss. Finally, the beach sunbeds need an upgrade. They are uncomfortable

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The entire staff was warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, which made our stay comfortable and memorable. A very special thank you to Sanjana at the Oasis Restaurant. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout our dining experience. Her friendly nature and dedication to ensuring everything was perfect truly stood out. She made us feel valued and well taken care of, and her excellent service added a special touch to our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great hospitality, excellent service, and a pleasant family-friendly atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We recently spent a two-day family vacation at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber, and honestly, the experience was so perfect that it’s hard to put into words. We were a large group of 18 people, and yet the resort managed everything flawlessly. From the moment we arrived, the personnel were exceptional—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The setting itself is breathtaking, with lush garden views and a beachfront that offers some of the best sunset views on the island. The entire hotel is beautifully designed, blending luxury with a very relaxed, tropical feel. The food quality was outstanding, with a variety that kept everyone in our large group happy. One of the highlights for us was the layout of the rooms; having a separate, quieter pool in our specific section was a game-changer. It allowed us to enjoy some private family time away from the main hub while still being steps away from the action. The beach and lagoon are world-class—crystal clear and perfect for swimming. Whether you were lounging in the gardens or down by the water, the attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was evident. It was a flawless stay that exceeded all our expectations, making it a truly memorable getaway for the whole family.

We had a very pleasant time here and would consider coming back. Great for a group of friends/families. Christopher found us a fabulous room in the best location as the hotel property is quite big. Thank you Christopher it made our stay worthwhile! Our guest host Ankush did a wonderful job spoiling us and our room was always well organized, with a sweet gesture every day (flowers and souvenirs). Rikesh also was on top of our requests, housekeeping and room service staff as well. Dave at the breakfast section was also very pleasant and always accommodating. Finally thank you Audrey at the spa for a wonderful treatment (after sun). My skin feels very soothed and hydrated. For anyone reading this, beware of the Mauritian sun. Wear lots of sunscreen as it can be brutal. I got badly burned on my first day at the beach and it was partially cloudy. The quality of the food in this resort is excellent! From breakfast to all the restaurants we have tried, which are La Caravalle, Blue Ginger and Mahiya (thank you Rukesh for being pleasantly accommodating). The chef at L’Oasis was very kind to send us some Uni and Oysters to our room when he found out we wanted to try them.

We hoped for a fantastic Christmas holiday in Mauritius, and our experience was so much more than we expected. While the resort is large, it never felt crowded despite the many facilities. The clear information we received in advance regarding the dress code and booking system was very helpful for making the most of the services. From the moment we checked in, it was obvious that the staff works hard to ensure every guest is happy. we experienced service with a smile at every turn, and any issue was managed in a professional and efficient manner. We were able to try all of the dinner restaurants, with the Indian and Asian restaurants being our personal favorites. We also want to send special compliments to Dave and his team at La Caravelle for the excellent breakfast and lunch service. Our all-inclusive package allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our stay. Planning in advance e.g the restaurants and SPA and not last minute it is very important for a smooth holiday. We can't wait to be back!
