St Mauritius

We stayed here for 7 nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with comfortable rooms, excellent housekeeping, good parking facilities, and a nice variety at breakfast. However, there are a few points for improvement. The lunch menu is rather limited, and unlike some other hotels in the area, bicycles are not complimentary but charged per day. Considering the room rates, I believe complimentary bike rental could be expected. Another small downside was that the hot breakfast items, such as eggs, pancakes, and sausages, were cold every morning.

Americans are not welcome here. The bartenders assumed we didnt know any italian when they laughed referred to us as American Assholes when dropping off our drinks. We arrived September 9th on the tail end of our two week tour of Italy. We arrived a little before check in time, and were told the room wasn't ready. So we grabbed drinks when the rude employees cursed. Americans stay far, far away from them.

Wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Forte dei Marmi. Modern, luxurious and comfortable, Hotel St. Mauritius has everything you could ever need. Don't skip the breakfast- it's amazing!

Staff was unreasonable when asked for a discount on third night that I had paid for and was not going to use. I had to pay for the night regardless of the fact that my 89 year old father was unwell and I had to leave to go back to him

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Hotel St. Mauritius, Forte dei Marmi Our recent stay at Hotel St. Mauritius in Forte dei Marmi was nothing short of magnificent, truly placing it amongst the very best hotels we have experienced worldwide. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, characterised by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Every single team member, from the receptionists to the cleaners, consistently greeted us with warm smiles and genuine offers of assistance, making us feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast choices were exceptional. As vegetarians, we were delighted by the sheer variety and quality of the offerings. It was a truly amazing spread with an abundance of options to suit every preference. Our room was lovely and very clean, with fresh towels replenished daily and bottled water restocked without fail. The attention to detail in maintaining the rooms was evident and greatly appreciated. The hotel also provided wonderful complimentary amenities. The bikes were well-maintained and free of charge as we paid for our stay in advance, a fantastic perk for exploring the area. Even simple gestures like tea at the bar were elevated with delicious homemade biscuits, and drinks were served with thoughtful accompaniments like fresh capers, nuts, crisps, and olives. The efficiency and willingness to help extended beyond standard services. We were particularly impressed with the laundry service, where items left in the morning were returned clean and pressed by the afternoon. Diana at reception deserves special commendation for her outstanding assistance. She effortlessly booked taxis, provided invaluable help with train tickets, and even organised a packed breakfast for our early departure. When I encountered a minor issue with the internet signal on the terrace, a maintenance man was dispatched immediately, resolving the problem promptly. In every aspect, Hotel St. Mauritius exceeded our expectations. The dedication of the staff, the quality of the amenities, and the overall welcoming atmosphere create an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.
