Quinta do Medronheiro

Excellent breakfast, with a lot of different possibilities (orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon water, milk, cereals, different types of bread, croissants, fruit, jams, eggs, coffee, etc) and all of them delicious. The room was clean and cozy. Staff was great. The view was amazing, and the bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. The highway is close enough that you see it, but not close enough that you hear it, so it's amazing. Couldn't find the wifi password, but that's also good since it forced us not to work while we were there. The lights were turned off everywhere in the property when we got there because nightfall is coming earlier and they didn't update their automatic schedule, but nothing serious, just could've been on earlier, didn't affect our safety since we stayed near the reception and, when we were guided to our room, the receptionist turned them on. It was just a bit scary since it's in the "middle of nowhere". The access road there, when done at night, can be dangerous if you don't pay close attention.

I did not stay in the hotel so can not comment on that but it was the venue of a wedding I went to. It was magical and there were great backdrops for pics.

Possibly the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Constantly felt like we were an inconvenience. The dinner came over an hour and a half late after ordering after which we were blamed due to the time of our booking (20:30). The food was undercooked and tasteless. The risotto was like eating raw rice. Overall possibly the most disappointing meal and stay, especially given the outrageous prices they charge

Very nice location and food was lovely. Somewhat overpriced but all in all the not to shabby...its a thumbs up from me 👍

Nice place to relax! It's quiet and has a really nice pool. The staff is helpful. Nice view and good bed in the room.
