Yeah I dunno if its worth £600 per night for the worst room. Nothing like actively wrong, its just a little old and run down and the service isnt quite at that price point, also given how much the staff probably earn like where is all this money going 😅 Breakfast is fine but not particularly good food, the spa is pretty terrible and the outdoor pool is meh, not particularly pretty and looks over this weird marsh and arid garden plus quite a few screaming kids sort of thing. The staff do weird things like lock a lot of doors in the public areas at night which is legit inconvenient. Bikes should probably be free as well just my opinion Overall wouldnt actively recommend it for the price if I’m honest - not saying its bad just think its expensive for what I would consider a lower end 5*

Exceptional place in a great location, the staff provide an incredible service in all areas of the hotel. The dining was a lovely experience and the barman was incredibly knowledgable about wines.

My wife booked this break with British Airways as my birthday present and whilst we did have a few issues with the booking due to it being 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant, with rooms being a maximum of 3 people, it was all sorted for us on arrival. The hotel did not disappoint being welcomed by lovely staff, that stayed lovely throughout the stay. Our room was very spacious despite it being the bottom option and felt the room felt very luxurious. The bed itself was so comfortable with soft mattress and lovely feeling duvets. Breakfast was a delight, again the staff made us feel very welcome, even though we had children. We didn’t feel looked upon, like we have done in other luxury 5-star hotels. The grounds are perfect and you can walk down the front to the lagoon and there is a play area for the children. Pool was amazing with both an adults section and a warm one kids. Really recommend this place!
