Pinehurst Resort - The Carolina Hotel

When you come with a group and you're one of the only ones they place in an off site building, reminiscent of the 1950s (and not in a good way). Excuse me!? The foundation in the building is off by feet, not inches. The building has a faint cigarette smell. The decor looks like someone's 90-year-old grandmother designed it. I called about being moved back to the group (due to my wife's disability) and was informed there were rooms available, but not accommodated. Talk about awful customer service. NEVER COME HERE unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen experience. That was the vibe and experience. I typically look forward to coming here all year and after this I never want to come back again.

Bring your ear plugs! This place is NOT luxury despite the price. The walls are so thin. I was in a room that was right above the dining room and they started the piano at 7am. I was on PST and had arrived at 11pm at night so the early wake up was not welcomed. The hotel basically told me there’s nothing they can do about it. I’d say the spa is also quite underwhelming. From the services to the amenities area plus a weird smell, I would not recommend for the prices. The redeeming quality was the food that’s why I gave it 2 stars.

Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and dinner. Plenty of golf for all handicaps. Great staff, very courteous and aims to please everyone. My wife and I will be back to get massages and play the rest of the courses. Caddies are worth the money. Chance and Manny are top notch caddies!

WOWZA!! My wife and I went here over Thanksgiving and were blown away. I had been here before but not since the renovation. What a great update, first class all around and the service is ELITE. I would like to point out a few names - Wyann, Bo, Sean and Mimi in the restaurant. Run don't walk if you are looking for a great experience.

What a great 3 night stay at the lovely Carolina Hotel . Outstanding service from the moment we checked in . Front desk staff incredible, highlighted by service from Savannah and Jessica who helped me numerous times with great care and attention to detail . Smith our shuttle driver was overflowing with good vibes as he transported our group of 8 . It’s so great to see people who truly love their jobs . An extra shout out goes to the gents at the bell hop/ concierge station who found my Amazon package . Great people providing great service in an incredible location . 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
