Don’t go. It’s a place for coach parties with a managment that seek to rip its visitors off or extract extra money at any opportunity. Staff have a lousy attitude. Many just hovering around trying to avoid doing any work. Tea and coffe took several requests to finally come. You can’t get to th hotel to spend money without travelling by car. Yet if you do they charge you extra to park your car to use their facilities. Rip off. Avoid.

Staff 5/5: attentive, friendly, responded immediately to any needs or requests Room 3/5: dated, bed and pillows not that great, bathroom cramped Grounds 5/5: beautiful landscape Amenities 5/5: had everything you could want, but could have used a non-heated pool to cool down on hot day. But I guess the cool lake fulfilled that need. Food 2/5: Food was just ok. Needed more variety and to suit various dietary restrictions. Bar choices were limited.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel in July of 2024 for his birthday. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was amazing!!! The room and pool were the highlights. The negative part of the stay was the food. We dined at all the restaurants and also had the tea. The food was a 2-3 at best and definitely not even close to what you would expect for a hotel like this. The pool needs to be renovated but the view made up for that. Also, we were very annoyed that kids were allowed to run around the hotel jumping, yelling and even through the restaurant. If the parents can't control their kids in this environment staff should say something because it really ruins the experience.

Checked out the hotel along the circuito chico tour. The lobby has nice rustic decor. The food is pretty good : the onion soup is a more clear version and we like it after the richer version in most other restaurants. The trout empanada has generous portion of fish and we recommend. The service is good though it is missing the subtle attentiveness that makes it 5 star level. The parking arrangment is confusing for English speaking visitors as the attendant does not speak much English and the help button is also in Spanish. If you are a visitor not speaking s Spanish, you can find parking just by driving another minute passed the hotel parking.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Period. Yes, the rooms feel a bit outdated (we stayed in the old part) shower could use a renovation, but the hotel has its unique old school luxury vibe. We really enjoyed the heated pool (outdoor + indoor), with a breathtaking view to the lake and the mountains. The hotel is far from the city center (45 mins), but you get unparalleled silence. Breakfast was incredible, all fresh, fantastic attentive service and amazing quality. Our SPA treatment was also one of the BEST we EVER got, really, really good. Really good. Staff was welcoming and always with a smile. We also enjoyed a dinner at the Argentinian restaurant which was very good, even though a bit pricey. Would 100% recommend and hope to return here someday.
