Very disappointed ! From a 5star hotel and its exaggerated price you expect some more. Spacious rooms and nice balcony but need maintenance, windows and window walls had fingerprints from the previous guests. Food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is very chaotic, but the asian waiters are really very nice and supportive! The spa is nice but need maintenance, the really big pool but with a very strong smell of chlorine. The a-la carts restaurant had good menu and delicious Indian curry. The cherry on the top was when we were asked to pay for the coffee capsules (coffee machine in the room) 4 leva per capsule at checkout. Not recommended, plenty hotels in the area much nicer and cheaper!

Rooms very spacious and clean. In need of small maintenance but nothing serious. All staff very kind and attentive to your wishes. Spa and indoor pool very nice. Very nice massages with a lot of chioces. Food not too many kind and variety (one soup only every day) but was always fresh, tasty and good quality. Drinks with a little problem, on all inclusive one kind of local raki (low quality) and only one kind of local whiskey, brandy and gin is a little too low. All in all we spent few nice days at the location which is very far away from any other local attractions.

A great resort for a quick and relaxing escape from the city, especially in the colder weather. The usual plan when visiting the Lighthouse Spa resort is to take 2-3 nights and just soak in the spa as much as possible, and that gets old, we just go to Balchik to walk around and have some nice food accompanied by the many cats. It's a 15 minute drive so it really is close. Other than that the food is nice, but I would recommend going for the bead and breakfast option not the all inclusive. You are better off eating lunch and dinner at their other restaurants or in the city. All in all, it's always been a great experience for us and I would totally recommend it for a quick getaway and a hot spa day in the winter.

After my stays for 5 nights in lighthouse GC, I have to say i had really great and relax time. Not only for my stay and also for golf.
Can be it was not peak season. But still many golfers here day to day. But it was calm and relaxing. Well managed by hotel to serve all purposes of the visitors. I do recognize the services that their service was base on my needs with kindness that i felt warm.
Location wise, it was great. I did played in Black Sea Rama and Thracian Cliff. Travel was so easy and close by. However Lighthouse does offer open view and open space in the campus, which is a plus to me.
Fine dinning is available in the hotel. Bluefish was charcoal grilled. Taste was excellent. Fish skin was thin and crunchy. Fish oil was well reserved in the meat. Love it.
Chicken roulade was very tender and meshed sweet potato tasted very great. I miss the flavour of sweet potato a lot as it is also a common ingredient in my home country.
Overall, if you are looking for easy, warm service, relaxing and cozy stay, and golfing day to day, then Lighthouse is definately for you.

Full version:
While the hotel facilities are good, in general, the hotel lacks in the service area. The food is mediocre and the "all-inclusive" services are far from a 5-star hotel. A simple example - getting a cappuccino from the lobby bar is a sad affair. If I'm a customer who would be paying the average price of the cappuccino, the barista would make it fresh on a proper coffee machine. But as an "all-inclusive" guest, my choice was limited to a coffee automat drink (the vending machine type, or the usual breakfast coffee machines). Of course, said machine was placed in the lobby bar, so the all-inclusive guests can smell the proper freshly ground coffee while drinking the machine made one with powdered milk. Additionally, bottled water is sold only. If you want water, it's either tap/filtered glass of water, or a purchased bottle. I understand there's a level of financial logic behind this but it just makes the whole experience feel cheap. The devil is in the details, as they say. I sincerely doubt, these cost-saving decisions have such a massive impact on the revenue.
On a positive note, the personnel is great and helpful and do their best lessen the effects of some poor managerial decisions.
