DAS MOERISCH

We were staying in the junior suite. Room was okay, but no AC present. It was very hot, no circulation of fresh air. An update of the bathroom with a walk in shower, would be nice. The food (diner in the evening) was excellent. Staff was very friendly.

We were very happy with our stay at Das Moerisch. The owner, Sigi Moerisch is a 'hands on' CEO. He really works hard to make sure everything is perfect for his guests. His sister Elizabeth also works very hard and pays close attention to detail. The staff was very polite and efficient during our stay and the property is immaculate. There is a real 'Zen' feeling to the grounds of the hotel and the Golf course is readily accessible. The Pool area and Spa are beautiful and there is private beach access on Millstatter See. The food was outstanding and ample in quantity. We would definitely highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. Prosit!

Luxury place to stay. Dresscode for diner and the hierarchical German/austrian way of working is apitty. But the location especially the outside garden is magnificent.

Gourmet cousine with expertly and creatively composed dishes for dinner. Comprehensive breakfast buffet with fresh and ripe fruit; tasty afternoon snack buffet. Very comfortable spa area with various types of sauna (including Finnish). Very comfortable rooms and beautiful grounds. Great location on the north side of Millstätter See - so rooms on the south side of the hotel get a magnificent view and lots of sun.
