Hotel Lamm is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful structures in Castelrotto. From the moment you arrive, the incredible design of the hotel stands out, blending modern luxury with Alpine charm. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, and the spa area, specifically the rooftop pool, is a true masterpiece that offers a serene atmosphere and breathtaking views. If you are looking for a property that excels in aesthetics and physical comfort, this hotel hits the mark perfectly.
However, the service levels simply do not match the high price tag or the prestigious level of the facility. For a hotel of this caliber, one expects a certain degree of operational discipline that was unfortunately missing during our stay. A primary example occurred when we departed for a day of skiing at 8:30 in the morning; when we returned nearly six hours later at 14:40, our room was still in the middle of being cleaned. Having to wait for housekeeping to finish before we could even change or relax after a day on the slopes is a significant inconvenience that shouldn't happen in a luxury establishment.
This lack of attention to detail extended to other areas as well. We noticed small but important oversights, such as towels being unavailable in the spa area, which takes away from the premium experience the hotel aims to provide. Furthermore, the departure process felt cold; at checkout, no one asked for feedback or seemed interested in our experience. To truly compete at this level, Hotel Lamm needs to inject more care and guest-centric discipline into their daily operations. It is a very nice hotel, but the "human element" currently lags behind the stunning architecture.

Everything was perfect. Strongly recommending.
Big & elegant room with a balcony facing Dolomites.
Parking, amazing pool on the roof and excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Hotel is located in the center of the village.

A great experience overall. Rooms are modern and stylish, with lots of storage space and useful details like the toilet and shower in 2 separate rooms. There is no AC, but you won't need it unless there's a serious heat wave: it gets reasonably cool at night in the mountains.
The half-board program deserves a special mention: for 25 euros per person day, you can get dinner at the hotel, as long as you're a guest and you agree to the plan for the entire length of your stay. This is an amazing deal. For the 4 nights we stayed here, the food was consistently excellent, and often surprising and creative. The 5-course meals we were served would easily go for $100+ per person in America.

It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Attention to detail in terms of comfort and cleanliness is hard to beat. But what makes this hotel really outstanding is the staff. Special thanks to Gianluca and Simone (restaurant), who do extra to make guest feel welcome. 100% recommend. 👏👏👏

One of the best Hotels, we stayed during the last years.
We loved everything.
The room, the bed, wonderful.
Beautiful decor everywhere in the hotel. Friendly and caring staff. Relaxing spa and pool.
There is nothing negative. Prices are fair to what you get, especially the charge for half board is cheap for the quality of food your get.
Very friendly with the kids.
