Absolutely absurd experience. I’ve been to this restaurant before. It was fine. Nothing extraordinary, but acceptable. This time, I called to make a reservation — like one does for a restaurant — and was met with a level of hostility and incompetence that is honestly embarrassing. The person who answered the phone didn’t say “good evening” or “how can I help you.” Instead, I got: “Who are you?” and “What do you want?” I was then told I couldn’t enter unless I was “invited.” Invited. To a restaurant. In a hotel. This is not a private club, not a members-only dining room, not a diplomatic residence. It’s a hotel restaurant that supposedly exists to welcome guests and, yes, people who want to spend money. The entire point of hospitality seems to have been lost on whoever is running the front line here. Real luxury understands service. Pretend luxury mistakes arrogance for exclusivity. What makes this even more laughable is the setting. This isn’t Mayfair, Saint-Germain, or Gstaad. It’s an aspirational, deeply boring, middle-class Argentine neighborhood trying very hard to cosplay sophistication. The disconnect between attitude and reality is staggering. If you’re going to act exclusive, at least offer something exceptional. This place offers neither. Disgusting attitude, amateur service, and a complete misunderstanding of what hospitality actually is. I won’t be back, and I’d advise anyone who values basic respect to look elsewhere.

A very challenging and picturesque golf course, well maintained and managed, with a reasonable green fee. We did not stay at the Hostería, but we did visit and it looks very comfortable indeed, with a very relaxing feel.
