Grandhotel Lienz

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, especially in the restaurant section. Beautiful room, pool, and spa area!

This is a 5-star hotel, and we had the chance to have lunch here, so my review refers only to the service and food quality during lunch, as I cannot speak about dinner. The food was generally very tasty. My friend had the beef tartare and said it was excellent. I tried the truffle carpaccio, but I must admit it was underwhelming—the truffles were barely noticeable, and overall it lacked flavor. The main courses were excellent: the shrimp were superb, and my friend enjoyed the Viennese veal schnitzel, which literally melted in the mouth. The service was friendly and acceptable, but not quite at the level one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, food is recommended, though prices are higher than at other places. I would return again.

Compared to the price we had amazing stay .. the rooms are large and luxurious. Service is amazing .. the pool is very cool and amazing and its infinity pool which has indoors and outdoors section . A lot of dry and wet sauna rooms .. massage... breakfast is amazing and the have parking . Its just luxury experience in resonable price

The hotel is very nice and very close to the city center. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is pretty good. We had a good view from our spacious room. The indoor and outdoor pool are great, so is the spa center. All in all - great experience.

We found ourselves unwinding in the saunas and steam rooms, each with its own distinct charm. The food at the hotel was a delightful surprise, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a treat, and the dining experience was further enhanced by the attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The Grandhotel Lienz's location was a perfect match for our holiday spirit. It was just a short walk to the charming Lienz Christmas market, where we enjoyed browsing the festive stalls and soaking in the holiday spirit, making our stay even more memorable. Overall, our stay at the Grandhotel Lienz exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with stunning views, exceptional service, and fantastic amenities. I can’t wait to return!
