When I booked this room, the rate clearly stated “Includes unlimited spa access.” This was one of the main reasons I selected your property and agreed to the price. However, after reviewing the property details more carefully before arrival, I discovered that the spa, pool and sauna are closed from March 2 until March 25, which fully covers the dates of my stay. This means that the main service included in the rate is not available during my stay.

This hotel has great location. It was lovely to wake up with ocean view every day. The room was big and had the toiletries in the bathroom, which was helpful. In the reception area there was always water, fruit and a sweet treat, which we found welcoming. All the staff we came across was friendly and approachable, and we even got offered the car park (maybe due to low season). Car park was also easy to find. It was a nice touch to be received with some complimentary water bottle and a box of chocolates in our room. To make our stay perfect and since we are big coffee drinkers, we would have appreciated if there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room, even though we were very close to coffee shops and restaurants, sometimes we wanted a coffee before their opening times. Also, the spa area was good and relaxing but we didn't find the steam room and sauna hot enough, we are used to have those temperatures way higher. We will definitely recommend this place and would love to return.

I would like this to be helpful for others when making a booking. Our stay was a bit hit and miss. The breakfast was nice, I can recommend that. The area/ hotel - is oldish - not much in our opinion to do in the sourroundings. It's a small town. Parking pretty expensive. The rooms unfortunately are the biggest dissapointment, did not stay in yet in a place that is in such a bad shape. It wasn't dirty, but very old and worn out. The bed mattress is okay. I wouldn't necessarily take this for the swimmingpool, if in Porto area, I would take something close to the city. The lady at the reception from Guymares - we say hi also - was very nice - thank you for your kindness and help. In the morning, there were two persons on the reception who were very blank and ignoring us when we tried to bring up an issue - no help - just "we will pass this information to the hotel staff". So yes, it's wierd if you'd recommend this place or not, depends what you want. I am confident you can find something better. So it is not all bad, I recommend Eurostars Oasis Plaza, which is way better, from this same hotel chain, they don't compare, day and night, we were surprised how different everything was between them, even if just 2 hours away by car between them.

The location of the hotel is great, right near the beach! However, that's honestly the one of the only good things about this hotel with it being 4 stars. The interior is very old and outdated and had squeaky floors. The gym was quite spacious, but the equipment was visually old and some were broken (like the treadmill). The indoor pool was very good though! I wouldn't be giving this hotel such a bad rating if it wasn't for them being 4 stars, it looks like more of a 2-3 star hotel based on the interior. The staff was good though and fixed a leakage from our sink very quickly!

The rooms lack any sense of luxury. Ours was far too small for three people (two adults and a child), with only a single mirror hidden inside the wardrobe. The air conditioning barely worked, and despite complaining, nothing was done to fix it. The bathroom had no ventilation, leading to unpleasant odours, and the shower water pressure was very weak. Overall, the hotel feels like it’s cutting corners on guest comfort, despite advertising itself as a 4-star establishment.
