Der Fürstenhof

Went there for a wellness weekend and it’s a super cute spot. The meals were delicious and the ambiance was amazing. I can really recommend it.

Room was a little small. My bed couldn't be adjusted. The mattress lost some of its spring. The Al fresco area of the restaurant wasn't open even though the weather was good. We asked Mentor (a waiter) many times to have us seated outside especially since there's covid. He flatly denied us each time. When we asked other waiters, the junior ones would at least check with the manager. The female senior ones gladly had us sit outdoors during breakfast. After the al fresco area was opened, many people went outside to enjoy their meal. I would have preferred the doors of the restaurant to be opened so that there would be air circulation (covid). Mentor also chased us out quite quickly after 7.30pm. Yes, I understand dinner service ends at 7.30pm. However, he should ask himself why we were still not done at 7.30pm. It's because he took very long to serve us/ take our orders. The way he kicked us out was also rude. This would never happen in countries with way better service. Waiter Dzenan and waitress Anita Wimmer were good. One older waitress (who was nice) wiped the floor because there was a spillage. Then she used the same cloth to wipe the buffet counter and the machines. That's unhygienic. Sun tanning area was nice. Much better than the one at St. Wolfgang. Housekeeping only occurred once a day. I expected it to be more frequent. Car park was really dark. We scratched our car. Good location for a hotel.

I was there this weekend, and my experience was better than my expectations. I was not sure of the place because I couldn't see pictures made by the clients, but I can truly say it is a wonderful place, more than this with such friendly people as a team work, it have everything you need to rest and enjoy. The food is just amazing, I got really in love with this place. I did read somewhere that the rooms are old style, but for me the complete place is a typical German place what gave me a nice feeling, as a foreign I felt in Germany. With not doubt I will go back ! Thank you for make my time a wonderful time. PS: I will post one pic I think it is a great idea, to be able to give a tip to the kitchen team and them great work, and not just send regards as is everywhere, I hope some others hotels can copy this idea.

Had lunch and was very pleased,very good food with fair prices,amazing place with fantastic view,its a must..Plus..One of the most amazing Golf courses i have played,surrounded by nature it has a breathtaking environment,extended view through the whole course at 360 degrees,in excellent condition perfect greens and very good service.Its the perfect place to spend a weekend where you can sleep as well too.

This hotel is part of an artificial village consisting to hotels, apartment houses, pensions, restaurants and a handful of shops. The complex was created in the, early 80ies driven by the fact that the water well was awarded the "Bad" (Bath) status. Along with the wellness, health and rehab services an abundance of golf courses popped up around Bad Griesbach making it the biggest Golf Resort in Europe. Since I am not a golfer my stays are purely focused on wellness. The spa area still has a pretty high standard and should satisfy "normal" expectations. The food is exceptional and it alone would be worth the money - definitely book the evening meal or you miss something. Staff is always friendly and courteous and many have been working there for years. The nature is lovely and if you have the chance go and book a hot air balloon ride - it's a one of a kind experience that you won't forget. The only thing missing for the 5th star - the single room could need some touching up in the bathrooms. But really, it's complaining on a very high level. Looking forward to go again.
