⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible holiday at Le Cannonier. The resort is quiet, spotlessly clean, in a fantastic location and offers excellent value for money. The staff were outstanding — friendly, helpful and always going above and beyond. Management were visible and approachable throughout our stay. A special mention to our waiter Osman and to Sonia Duval, the hotel manager, whose care and attention made a real difference. Beautiful rooms, stunning amenities, delicious and varied food, and a perfect setting with the sea on your doorstep and a gorgeous pool. We stayed for 8 days and could easily have stayed longer. Will return without hesitation.

⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cannonier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, especially dining at Frangipanier. A special thank you to Executive Chef Ajay and his fantastic team for their exceptional care and service. I have a severe tree nut allergy, and they went out of their way to ensure my safety — clearly marking allergens on menu items and even preparing chocolate sauce and ice cream specially for me to avoid any contamination. Chef Ajay made us feel like royalties. But in general, the food they served were exceptional! The food we enjoyed at the Al a Carte restaurant was also delicious and beautifully presented. The attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care of this resort made the experience truly outstanding. Highly recommended.

Our recent stay at The Cannoniers Beachcomber was exceptional in every respect. As a well-established institution and a landmark at the truly magnificent Pointe aux Cannoniers in Mauritius, the hotel more than lives up to its reputation. From arrival to departure, the level of service was consistently attentive, courteous, and proactive. And this in spite of the hotel being close to 100% full. The facilities are beautifully presented, the rooms are impeccably clean, and the overall environment is both comfortable and refined. A particular highlight was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Individuals such as Mr. Rama, Shifa, Prathvi, Ti Van, Benji, and the raucously funny Ayush from the boathouse went well beyond standard service levels to ensure that our stay was seamless and enjoyable, and their efforts are sincerely appreciated. Their genuine warmth and commitment to guest experience made our visit truly memorable. Bravo! We are pleased to rate The Cannoniers Beachcomber five stars and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others. Well done Beachcomber group - you have wonderful staff.

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at Beachcomber Cannonier in July 2025. The food and drink were excellent and far from repetitive (as can sometimes be the case for All Inclusive). It was fresh, creative and delicious. The two restaurants were a good addition and were good to visit for a more special meal. The beach-side location was glorious – being able to stroll from our room directly onto the beach and from there round to the pool was wonderful. Only real issue was that the beach side location meant that we often had sandy feet – and couldn’t find a foot shower to wash them off. Only one pool so that may be something to consider for some guests. Amazing selection of watersports activities included, including water-ski and glass bottom boats. The watersports team were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile and sense of fun. The room was spacious and kept clean. Evening entertainment was good – nice gentle background bands and entertainers for us to enjoy whilst enjoying evening drinks or playing cards. A special shout / thank you to the following who all helped make our stay so enjoyable – Esha (reception), the lovely smiley Collen (waiter), Rama our ‘room boy’ as he called himself, Sharron, Prithvi and the lovely Nandini who always looked after us at meal times. Thank you all for a fabulous holiday. Side note – our holiday was booked through Becky Miles at Travel Counsellors – she was her usual brilliant self at recommending this resort and booking everything for us, thanks Becky.

We had a wonderful stay at Canonnier. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, great facilities, and a lovely beach. The food was very good across all the restaurants, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The kids’ club itself was nice, but we were a bit disappointed with the playroom: every time we went in, the staff members were watching TV and didn’t always come out to greet us or the child when we arrived. The staff in the rest of the resort, however, were generally friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was having a bit more space and privacy —since there is only one main pool, at times we wished for a little more distance from other guests. Still, overall we truly enjoyed our time at Canonnier and left with great memories.
