Boavista Golf & Spa Resort

We found our group at this location for three days and two nights during a big rain storm. One night we choose to order in food and drinks and had a great time in our spacious dinning room. Loved that this place had a washer/dryer combo because at this point in our trip we needed to wash clothes. We especially loved access to the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. All 5 of us received spa treatments from facials to massages and everyone loved their experience. As a foreigner I would have loved more directions on how to use the spa but besides that it was a great location.

We recently hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party at the Boavista county club house. 5 stars wasn’t enough to evaluate our experience. It was honestly one of the most spectacular evenings that was made possible but Boavista. The food was incredible and of abundance. The staff were amazing and absolutely attentive. Friendly and just overall wonderful. Sebastião was our even coordinates making sure the evening ran smoothly and that my guests were served. All the time. Our events coordinator Beatriz was the most helpful and delightful person I have met in the industry. He super friendly personality and attention to arrive was exemplary. The chef and staff went out of their way for us to accommodate allergies. The food was amazing I can’t thank enough to Boavista and their incredible staff and excellent service. Thank you for making our special occasion perfect.

You really can't complain about the living standards. Nice comfortable beds, big rooms, fully functioning kitchen, good shower pressure. Maybe a bit color is missing on the walls after some touches from hard things. And maybe the cleaners could once a quarter brush off the dust from toilet lamps or the vents. The check-in was not the easiest to find, but smooth check-in. Never really had anything to do with them. The only hotel/spa staff we had to encounter were those who manages the spa area; with the tennis/padel courts. We thought that the gym was included in the stay, but NO. That would cost 7 euros and you had to book when you wanted to visit the gym, cause only 12 people at the same time were allowed at the same time. The tennis courts costs 11 euros/hour, and you can rent equipment or buy tennis balls. Not the best tennis courts with cracks or rough surfaces. Padel courts were fine, but more expensive, 20 euros/hour. Didn't really feel that they were trying to be so client oriented when we tried to play tennis one day, when it just had rained a short shower, and one court was really wet, and the other court looked damp. It ended with us booking the padel court to play tennis with the kids. Despite low season, they could at least be show more hospitality. The tennis courts is need for some love/new pavement. And it should be more simpler instead of a key, just have website through the hotel to book the court and have a digital lock for the doors, instead of picking up and leaving a key before/after the play. The pools are a "bit" heated, but dont expect any 30 degree pools. More like 20-25 degrees. It's probably more enjoyable when its high season and mid-June/July. For kids otherwise, not so many exciting playgrounds - they should invest in a big playground with some more fun stuff, because there's probably a lot of kids here ususally. But good that they use artificial grass!

Such a nice experience. We went off season so the price was really good compared to the room (105m2 with a parental suite. So huge!!). Nice Spa and gym, possibility to take beginner golf lessons (thanks Hugo!!)

A wonderful golf resort, plus a super gym and tennis courts. The pools are beautiful. Everything you could ask for as a couple or a family. 5 minute drive to a stunning beach and the town has so many restaurants if you don't fancy dinner at Boavista
