1818 Meridian House

We stayed for six nights in a spacious two-bedroom apartment and absolutely loved it. The location near Lincoln Outdoor Mall is excellent, the place is beautiful, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms were spacious, and having a washing machine and dryer was very convenient. The manager was very kind and helpful. The only small downside was that the floor was a bit worn. We would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at 5:30 on Friday. There was nobody on site to help check in. I was able to check in on the phone. There should have been someone there. Once in the room, I found a moldy fruit tray in the fridge. The safe didn't work because the batteries were decayed. On the plus side, the towels were very soft. The location was perfect. After telling them about the problems, they did waive the parking fee. But they shouldn't charge for parking in the first place. I'll probably stay there again anyway. The plusses outweighed the minuses.

Extremely unprofessional experience. No physical check in after 5pm and Denata, who answered the phone was extremely unprofessional, texting a form that required a savable photo upload of a credit card via a totally unsecure web form. I declined and had to find another place to stay. Do not ever stay here. Stay away.

I had already stayed here last year and decided to return again this year because I had such a positive experience. The building manager who welcomes guests is extremely kind, helpful, polite, and makes you feel truly at ease from the moment you arrive. We chose the larger apartment this time, as it best suited our needs, and overall, everything was positive. However, compared to last year, I noticed a difference in the cleanliness of the apartment. This time, I did not find it as thoroughly cleaned as before. It’s possible that my expectations were influenced by last year’s experience, or perhaps the cleaning staff at that time were more meticulous and attentive to detail. On several occasions this year, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and the floors were not always mopped — we had to ask for cleaning more than once. So it remains to be clarified whether the cleaning service offered includes only the daily towel change and bed-making, as well as the linen change every three days, or if a more thorough cleaning should be expected. It’s also worth mentioning that we stayed for over twelve days, and if the apartment is not meant to be cleaned regularly by staff, then it would be helpful to provide guests with adequate cleaning supplies to maintain it themselves. If instead, a full cleaning is supposed to be included, then I must say I was disappointed this time. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The location is perfect — centrally positioned, with a beautiful garden just across the street and only a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Road, making it a very strategic area to stay in. To sum up: while I was not entirely satisfied with the apartment’s cleanliness this time, it does not exclude the possibility that I would choose to return in the future. The overall experience and the location remain very positive.

The location was excellent for us as we attended an exhibition which was just the opposite of the residence. The facilities were good, with capsules coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen. They could do better with amenities in the bathroom. We stayed on the ground floor as we had a lot of luggage but the drawback was we had to endure people on the higher floor step noise. The office manager - Roberto was amazing, he made us welcomed and gave very good supports in whatever we wanted.
