  1. Mickelson's triumph at the 2021 PGA Championship comes 30 years since he claimed his maiden PGA Tour title at the 1991 Northern Telecom Open
  2. This is Phil's 45th PGA Tour title from 644 PGA Tour events played
  3. This is Mickelson's sixth major title. Only 11 golfers have won more than six
  4. This title comes 17 years after his first major triumph - the 2004 Masters
  5. Mickelson becomes the oldest player to win a major. Mickelson, 50 years, 11 months and 8 days old, beats the record of Julius Boros who was 48 years, 4 months and18 days old when won the PGA Championship in 1968.
  6. This week Mickelson made his 97th cut in a major from 113  starts.
  7. Mickelson is 20 years older than Brooks Koepka who played alongside him in the final round
  8. Mickelson captured his sixth major after he already won twice on the PGA Tour Champions
